with closure some years ago but which was

Much work had to be carried out to ensure the future
of the line on the many viaducts an tunnels which
are a feature of the route, which is scenically one
of the best in England. Some of the old stations
were reopened, making the line an excellent way to
get right into the heart of the Dales.
