Winskill Stones image featured in "Plantlife":
 One of my landscape photos of the Winskill Stones, one of my favourite Yorkshire Dales locations, was reproduced full page in the winter issue of Plantlife, the magazine of the charity of the same name which "speaks up for the nation's wild plants".
It's always nice to see your work in print, but it was interesting to read the article too.
Plantlife actually bought the Winskill Stones site in 1997 to prevent the limestone pavement being plundered. I hadn't actually realised that this destruction was actually sanctioned by planning permission granted in 1951!
What were my forebears thinking, that it would be a cool thing to do to rip up the limestone pavement to use as garden features, walls, etc?

2012 Redbubble "Yorkshire Dales Calendar":
 Hot on the heels of the Redbubble "Northern Landscape" calendar comes the Yorkshire Dales calendar, featuring 12 of my favourite Dales images.
As with the Northern Landscape calender, it costs costs just £15.18 or $24.18 (plus postage).
New Greeting Card Buying Options:
Greeting cards are still available from my Zazzle, and Redbubble stores, but I have now added a 3rd option, Greeting Card Universe.
While Redbubble cards are always blank inside, Zazzle and Greeting Card Universe cards may be personalised with your own message inside. Unlike Zazzle cards however, which are shipped from the US, Greeting Card Universe cards are printed in both the US and UK.
Whichever option you choose, generous volume discounts are available.
New Print Buying Options:
Conventional "silver halide" photographic prints are available now from both my Redbubble and Zazzle stores.
They also remain available from my PhotoBox Pro Gallery.
Which Gallery to use?
Since all Zazzle products are shipped from the US, UK buyers are better off using either my PhotoBox or Redbubble galleries, for the best prices, lower shipping costs, and speedier delivery.

I
have added a new gallery of some of my favourite Lake
District and Yorkshire Dales landscape photographs.
The contents of this page will probably change over
time; I am currently reworking many images from the
last few years as I add them to my various on-line

New stained glass gallery:
 I have added a new gallery to this site featuring
stained glass photography.
Cumbria has some fine examples of stained glass by
William Morris.
The new gallery features windows from Troutbeck Church
and Staveley Church. (Detail right)
This gallery also features my first use of the Zoomify plugin
that allows you to zoom right in and see every detail
of the windows.
